WSE 10KM OPEN Haikou 2026

The WSE 10KM OPEN Haikou 2026 is a waterfront running event at FUNBAY Zizai Bay, Longhua District, Haikou, Hainan, on Sunday 29 November 2026. The organiser rescheduled this fixture from 19 September; the current official entry portal explicitly confirms the November date. The programme has competitive 10 km and 5 km races plus 5 km and 3 km adult-and-child participation races.

Course and race-day programme

The published route uses a 5 km out-and-back segment beside Haikou Bay, with cones separating sections of the course. The organiser advertises an event window of 07:00–12:00 China Standard Time. Check-in and collection of participant materials are scheduled for 07:00–08:00, with race check-in/competition activities from 07:30 and finish presentations from 09:30. These are programme windows, not confirmed individual wave flag-off times; runners should check their final instructions.

Registration and eligibility

The live Zuicool registration page advertises a 15 November 2026, 13:00 China Standard Time closing deadline, unless a category sells out earlier. The organiser's separate general fixture calendar displays a later 19 November cutoff; because the live registration checkout specifies 15 November, this listing adopts the earlier deadline pending clarification. Race fees are shown in the category cards; the family prices cover one adult and one child per entry, not a single runner.

The official sign-up page specifies the following child date-of-birth windows: 2018-01-01 to 2022-01-01 for the 5K parent-and-child event, and 2018-01-01 to 2023-01-01 for the 3K parent-and-child event. A parent must accompany the child. The organiser also lists separate date-of-birth eligibility limits for the elite divisions; entrants should verify those against the application form.

Postponement and refunds

The organiser announced the switch from 19 September to 29 November on 11 June 2026. Existing registrations remain valid for the new date; entrants unable to attend were invited to contact the organiser for a full refund under the postponement notice. Its current detailed policy also lists full cancellation refunds through 29 October, 90% for 30 October–12 November, 80% for 13–17 November, 50% for 18–19 November, and none from 20 November. Final eligibility for a refund or transfer depends on the live registration terms and the organiser's approval.
