WSE 10KM OPEN Zhengzhou 2026

The 2026 WSE 10KM OPEN Zhengzhou event is scheduled for Sunday, 8 November at Jialu River Park in Zhongyuan District, Zhengzhou. This stop of the WSE running series combines individual short-distance competition with family participation in an urban parkland setting beside the Jialu River.

Running programme

The day's advertised programme begins at 07:00 China Standard Time, led by the 10K elite race. There is also a 5K elite category and two parent-child options, covering 5K and 3K respectively. Each parent-child entry is for one adult running alongside one child, rather than a solo junior category. The organiser has not provided an independently verified detailed wave schedule for each shorter event on its current-edition Zhengzhou registration page; entrants should consult their final registration confirmation and pre-event instructions for the exact reporting and flag-off times.

Eligibility and entry

The current registration system specifies age eligibility by birth date. For the 10K elite race, entrants must have been born from 8 November 1946 through 1 January 2016; for the 5K elite race, from 8 November 1941 through 1 January 2019. In the 5K family race, the accompanying child's birth date must fall between 1 January 2018 and 1 January 2022. The 3K family event is open to an accompanying child born from 1 January 2018 through 1 January 2023. Parents should verify all current eligibility details before paying.

Places are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and can close when category capacity is reached. The official registration partner currently lists 28 October 2026 at 13:00 China time as the closing time, although the WSE series website gives a later date. The earlier date is the prudent deadline to follow. A final course map, race-pack collection instructions, finisher entitlements and detailed cut-off rules were not confirmed from the published 2026 Zhengzhou registration material. Runners should rely on the organiser's latest notices for those operational details.

Live registration check (24 October 2026)

The official linked ZUICOOL registration page currently displays registration open for all four listed divisions. It states the deadline as Wednesday 28 October 2026 at 13:00 China Standard Time, but entries are first-come, first-served and could close sooner if sold out. This is the registration platform's specific deadline, rather than the later generic deadline shown on a WSE series calendar. The displayed entry prices are CNY 138 for either solo elite race and CNY 198 for each adult-and-child family pair.

For category access, registration or wave questions, the organiser lists two telephone/WeChat contacts: +86 185 6608 2673 and +86 185 6608 4790. Published support hours are Tuesday 13:00–18:00 and Wednesday to Saturday 09:00–17:30, all China time. No reliable current-edition race-pack pickup venue or race benefits have been announced on that registration page; do not assume they are included.
