Event Detail
Mizuno HK Run Fest 2026 brings runners to the Charles K. Kao Auditorium, known as the Golden Egg, at Hong Kong Science Park in Sha Tin on Sunday 6 December 2026. Sportsoho Media Limited organises the road-running programme, with individual 10K, 5K and 3K races, age-group awards and team competitions.
Registration status: all categories full
The organiser announced on 24 June 2026 that every category had reached capacity. Earlier updates said the 10K and 5K had already filled on 11 June. The 24 June announcement is the confirmed sold-out-by date, not an originally advertised registration deadline. The fees shown below are historical 2026 entry prices, not evidence that entries remain available. There is no verified waiting list or additional entry release. Late or on-site registration is not accepted.
Race-day start windows
The official programme lists these tentative waves in Hong Kong time (UTC+8):
- 10K: 07:45 or 09:15
- 3K: 08:00 or 09:30
- 5K: 10:45 or 11:30
Runners cannot select their wave. The organiser allocates start times according to entries and categories and confirms each runner's wave before race-pack collection. Running in the wrong wave means the result will not count towards category rankings or team awards. ARC's main 07:45 display is the earliest provisional gun time, not a universal start for all distances.
Team Cups and age groups
The 10K Team Cup uses 20 registered individual entrants, with the fastest 18 times counting; each female runner receives a 300-second team-scoring adjustment. The 5K Team Cup uses 10 registered runners, with the fastest nine counting and a 150-second adjustment for each female runner. A runner may join only one team. Team Cup applications closed on 16 October 2026. Individual age divisions are assigned by birth year in 2026; the 3K has junior divisions for younger participants. Teams are a competition within already registered individual races, not a separate entry distance.
Race-pack collection and participant requirements
The organiser says collection instructions are emailed approximately two weeks before race day. Bring the printed notice or show its email on your phone. Collection dates, exact location and allocated times have not been independently confirmed; follow your official message. Event apparel has size and stock limitations, with preferred sizes not guaranteed. The organiser's earlier deadline to change event-apparel sizes was 3 July 2026.
Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Bring suitable sun protection, hydration and identification where requested, and follow marshals and safety directions. The organiser provides public-liability insurance, not individual accident cover. It may cancel without postponement or refunds for specified severe-weather warnings, including a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above at or after 08:00 the previous day, or relevant red/black rainstorm or extreme-conditions warnings on event morning.
Results and awards
Electronic results certificates are scheduled for download about one month after the event. According to the official prize schedule, the 10K individual top five receive trophies or medals with HK$1,000, $800, $500, $300 and $300 vouchers respectively. The 5K and 3K top three receive trophy/medal awards and HK$500, $300 and $200 vouchers respectively. Team Cup podium teams receive trophies/medals and discount vouchers.
