Equality Run Hyderabad 2026 - Statue of Equality

Equality Run 2026 returns to the Statue of Equality complex at Muchintal, south of Hyderabad, on Sunday 1 November 2026. Organised by Vikasa Tarangini, the second edition combines a competitive half marathon and shorter timed races with inclusive untimed runs and walks. The backdrop is the 216-foot statue of Sri Ramanujacharya and its surrounding spiritual and cultural precinct.

A run for public healthcare

The official 2026 organiser announcement describes the charitable purpose as Vaidyalaya Seva, raising support for improvements at government hospitals, particularly the refurbishment of washrooms and basic facilities. It is intended to bring runners, families and volunteers together around health, dignity, community service and active living. The event follows an inaugural 2025 edition.

Choosing a race

The official entry programme offers a 21K timed half marathon, 10K timed race, 5K timed race, a separate 5K fun run or walk, and a 3K fun run or walk. The timed categories include chip timing; the recreational options are designed for more relaxed participation. Age eligibility, race waves and any requirements for accompanying children should be confirmed with the organiser before entry.

Race day and logistics

The start and finish venue is advertised as the Statue of Equality, Muchintal, Hyderabad. The map pin indicates the landmark complex and is not a confirmed start-arch coordinate. The current official registration banner advertises 5:00 am IST for the event. Follow the final participant instructions for individual category flag-offs. Confirm arrival gates, transport, parking, traffic restrictions, hydration positions and the final course maps before race day.

Participation and race packs

The organiser advertises an event T-shirt, finisher medal, hydration stations, medical support, post-run breakfast, official event photographs and a timing certificate for eligible timed categories. The organisers have not publicly confirmed the 2026 bib collection dates and collection point on the official event announcement reviewed. Check the registration confirmation for collection instructions and the latest participation terms. Registration is closed for all five options on the officially linked iFINISH booking page. Its last displayed fees are INR 499 for 3K, INR 599 for the untimed 5K, INR 699 for timed 5K, INR 899 for 10K and INR 1,199 for 21K. These are later booking prices; the organiser announcement still shows earlier prices. Refer to your booking confirmation for the terms that apply.
