Industropolis Run 2026

Industropolis Run 2026 returns to the Batang Special Economic Zone (KEK Industropolis Batang) in Central Java on Sunday, 6 December 2026, for its third edition. The road-running event brings competitive athletes and recreational runners onto a relatively flat, AIMS-certified course through an unusual landscape of working industrial precincts, rubber plantations, reservoir scenery and the Java Sea coastline.

The Batang running experience

The organiser has redesigned the 2026 course direction to ease runner flow and reduce congestion at busy sections such as the wharf. Road sections used for the race are advertised as closed to regular vehicle traffic, allowing participants to concentrate on their pace. The organisers position the route as suitable for chasing a personal best while also showcasing the wider Batang region.

The event offers 5K, 10K and half-marathon distances. The official regulations specify maximum finishing times of 90 minutes for 5K, 150 minutes for 10K and 210 minutes for the half marathon. Timing-chip bibs record results and support route checks. The event calendar currently gives an overall 05:00 WIB morning start, but the individual 2026 category flag-offs are not independently confirmed. The registration operator's text includes an older 2025 programme with 05:00 / 05:30 / 05:45 starts; do not treat those older times as a confirmed 2026 timetable.

Entry status: sold out

All six ticket types (early bird and regular for 5K, 10K and half marathon) are marked SOLD OUT on the event's official Lawana registration page as checked on 25 October 2026. The registration site also shows a planned registration period through 31 October 2026, but the advertised end date does not mean places remain available. The exact date on which the last places sold out could not be independently established. The organiser's main website continues to display registration buttons, so runners should rely on the actual ticket statuses rather than assuming those buttons signify availability.

Eligibility and race regulations

The published rules say entries are restricted to Indonesian citizens. The stated minimum age is 17 for 10K and half-marathon competitors. Organiser rules also require parental consent for under-17 participants, so any younger runner considering the 5K should confirm their eligibility and guardian paperwork before making arrangements.

Bib transfers and resale are forbidden. Collection must happen before race day: the regulations do not allow postal delivery or race-morning pickup. A representative may collect for someone else with authorisation, registration evidence and identification. Water stations are advertised at intervals of roughly 2–3 km, and there are medical support arrangements. Follow marshal instructions and the final published route and checkpoint requirements.

Race-pack collection and organiser information

The Lawana event listing identifies 4 December 2026 (13:00–18:00 WIB) and 5 December 2026 (10:00–18:00 WIB) for race-pack collection at Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang. Verify these arrangements with the organiser before travelling, because parts of the linked registration description still contain outdated 2025 copy despite the event heading, dates and tickets referring to 2026.

The published conditions generally prohibit refunds and allow cancellation or postponement in circumstances beyond the organiser's control. A cancellation is not currently indicated; these are precautionary terms, not an announcement of a change.
