Olymrun Makassar 2026

Olymrun Makassar 2026 brings the Run for Better Living series to the seafront at Anjungan Pantai Losari on Sunday, 22 November 2026. Initiated by PT Graha Multi Bintang (Olympic Group) with race operations credited to Viano Production Indonesia, the event is designed to bring local running communities, families and businesses together in Makassar. The programme offers a 5K Fun Run and a 10K Challenge rather than a half marathon or marathon.

Start, classifications and cut-offs

The organiser's current race guide lists a 05:45 WITA flag-off from Jalan Penghibur, alongside Pantai Losari, and advises participants to arrive at least one hour beforehand. Earlier third-party event calendars list 05:15 for the 10K and 05:30 for the 5K, which conflict with the organiser's published 05:45 guidance. Until a revised official start grid appears, entrants should follow the organiser's 05:45 instruction and confirm any category-specific wave times directly before race day.

• 5K Fun Run: Student (17 and under), General (18-39) and Masters (40+); 90-minute cut-off.
• 10K Challenge: General (18-39) and Masters (40+); 150-minute cut-off.
• Both distances advertise men's and women's classifications. Eligibility ages are determined on race day.

Race rules and preparation

The organiser requires all runners to wear their allocated race bib, follow the marked route and comply with officials' instructions. Bibs are non-transferable; runners who miss the cut-off or are disqualified are ineligible for a finisher medal. The race promotes healthy, active living and community participation. The full route maps, hydration points and any subsequent start-time changes should be confirmed from the final organiser communications.

Registration and race-pack collection

The event's official website provides the registration form, with advertised standard fees of IDR 180,000 for 5K and IDR 270,000 for 10K. A successful registration is confirmed by official email. Race packs are collected on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 November, 10:00-20:00 WITA each day, on the ground floor of Nipah Mall Makassar. Bring photo identification and the QR ticket; a letter of authorisation may be required when collecting for someone else. The organiser's registration conditions state that fees are generally non-refundable, including for personal cancellation and force majeure.
