Suroboyo Mlayu Bengi 2026

Suroboyo Mlayu Bengi 2026 brings a festive 5 km night run to the heritage streets of Surabaya on Saturday, 14 November 2026. Starting and finishing at Tugu Pahlawan, the untimed community event combines a city-centre run with a live-music party at the race village. The event is open to Indonesian and overseas runners.

The organiser's published route begins at Tugu Pahlawan and travels through the historic Kota Tua area, including Jalan Bubutan, Jalan Krembangan Barat, Jalan Rajawali, Jembatan Merah, Kya-Kya Chinatown, Jalan Bongkaran, Jalan Karet and Jalan Veteran, before returning to the monument. The organisers use managed traffic crossings rather than completely closing every street. Follow marshals and police, especially at junctions.

This is a fun run rather than a timed race. There is no competitive ranking or podium. The official registration terms specify a 19:00 WIB start and estimate most participants will finish by approximately 20:30, although the site's FAQ still says the start time will be announced. Check the event's final Instagram notice in case the programme changes. Water, lighting, marshals and sweepers are planned along the course.

Entry and participation

• Regular 5K entry: IDR 250,000, advertised on the organiser's current registration page. The former IDR 215,000 Presale 2 offer ended on 18 October.
• The official page advertises regular registration until 1 November 2026 at 00:00 WIB, subject to places selling out earlier. An optional concert-only ticket at IDR 160,000 does not include the 5K run.
• Children under six may accompany a parent or guardian without a ticket; participants aged 6–15 require a ticket and a responsible adult aged at least 16 within the same order. Entrants aged 16 and older may register independently.
• Paid entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. After placing an order, customers receive a QRIS payment request and must submit payment evidence within the organiser's three-hour payment window; confirmations are handled during 09:00–21:00 WIB.
• Road safety rules prohibit bicycles, scooters, pets, glass containers and sharp objects. Bring minimal valuables: the organiser does not currently provide an official baggage-drop service.

Race-pack collection and after-party

Official collection is at Tugu Pahlawan on Friday 13 November, 13:00–21:00 WIB, or Saturday 14 November, 09:00–15:00 WIB. Bring the registration QR code plus accepted photo identification. The organiser allows collection by a nominated person under the published ID and authorisation rules; see the official FAQ before sending a representative.

The pack includes the event jersey, bib, tote bag, glow bracelet and partner gifts. The finisher medal is handed out at the finish line, not inside the pickup pack. The event also advertises music from DnA x PARKZ and Garry Ang & Niko Junius in the post-run race village.
