Shah Alam East Half Marathon 2026

The Shah Alam East Half Marathon 2026 takes place on Sunday 20 December 2026, at Padang Kejiranan Komuniti Bukit Jelutong in Shah Alam, Selangor. It is organised by Puncak Ventures SRA Sdn Bhd with Bidai Residences Association Bukit Jelutong as co-organiser.

Race-day programme

The official organiser schedule confirms a 21 km half marathon at 04:00 (four-hour cut-off), 10 km at 07:00 (two-hour cut-off) and 5 km fun run at 07:15 (one-hour cut-off), all Malaysia time (MYT, UTC+8). The half marathon has men's and women's Open divisions for ages 15–39 and Senior divisions for ages 40+. The 10K Open division covers ages 13–39, and its Senior division is 40+. Children aged five and above may enter the 5K, while entrants under 18 require parental permission or accompaniment as specified by the rules. Age categories are assessed on 31 December 2026.

Entry and important dates

The official registration page gives the closing deadline as 30 November 2026 at 11:59 pm Malaysia time, although entries can close earlier if places fill. The organiser advertises three price bands, excluding administration fees:

• 21K: MYR 65 super early bird, MYR 80 early bird, MYR 98 normal.
• 10K: MYR 45 super early bird, MYR 62 early bird, MYR 78 normal.
• 5K: MYR 40 super early bird, MYR 55 early bird, MYR 68 normal.

The super early-bird offer is limited to the first 500 registrations rather than a published fixed end date. The race-category cards record that lowest advertised rate, not necessarily the price remaining at checkout. Use the organiser's live booking page to confirm the applicable price and space.

Race kits and practical information

Race-pack collection is scheduled for Saturday 19 December, 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. The collection venue has not yet been announced. Bring your confirmation and original identification. Courier delivery is offered, but applications close on 15 November. There is no standard race-morning kit collection desk. Under the organiser's specific exception procedure, runners who miss regular collection hours may request a special pre-start pickup, subject to advance contact and a MYR 15 penalty, potentially increasing by MYR 20 for a late request. Contact the organiser no later than two hours before scheduled race-kit collection closes to request that arrangement; it is not guaranteed.

Race entitlements include an event shirt, bib and finisher medal, with an additional finisher shirt for the half marathon. Race bibs may not be transferred, and prams, skates and pets are not permitted on the course. The organiser can close a category early and may change event arrangements for safety reasons. Check the official event information and current registration and race rules before travel.
