Event Detail

The 2026 National MILO Marathon - Urdaneta City Leg is the final provincial qualifying stop in the Philippine series' 50th-anniversary season, The Golden Run. Scheduled for Sunday, 8 November 2026 in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan, it precedes the National Finals in Clark, Pampanga, on 6 December. The National MILO Marathon began in 1974 and has become an important pathway for grassroots and competitive Filipino road runners. The organiser's current-edition race calendar identifies Urdaneta as a distinct round, separate from the earlier Subic, Cavite and Iloilo races.

Race format and eligibility

The regional programme includes a 21K half marathon, 10K, 5K and 3K, rather than a full marathon; the 42.195K championship race belongs to the National Finals. Under the published 2026 national regulations, half-marathon participants must be at least 18 and supply a fit-to-run medical certificate issued within two months of race day. The 10K minimum age is 16. The 5K is open from age seven, while the competitive 3K division is intended for children aged 7–12. The rules also provide adapted entry categories for participants with disabilities.

The national cut-offs are 2 hours 30 minutes for 21K, 2 hours for 10K and one hour for each shorter distance. Half-marathon runners face an intermediate 10K checkpoint at 1 hour 30 minutes. Entrants should follow the final local race instructions for their actual wave and start time.

Pathway to the National Finals

The provincial half marathon is a qualifying race. The national regulations allow eligible top finishers and runners who meet age-group standards to progress to the championship marathon in Clark. For example, the published qualifying standards for ages 18–34 are 1:40 for men and 1:50 for women, with different standards for older groups. Eligibility and prize restrictions apply: the organiser specifies that Filipino runners and foreign residents holding working visas may compete for qualifying-race honours, while overseas entrants may participate without being eligible to win.

Registration, race packs and practical notes

RUNRIO's 2026 national regulations provide standard fees, awards and entitlements, but Urdaneta-specific checkout availability and charges should be reconfirmed through the official MILO race hub. Race singlets and bibs are compulsory, and bib transfers are prohibited. The national policy provides on-site race-pack collection, with the precise location and collection timetable announced closer to each round. Baggage facilities are intended for the 10K and 21K categories; runners in the shorter races are discouraged from bringing bags.

Important venue and timing caution: The official 2026 series calendar confirms Urdaneta City on 8 November, but the exact starting gate, individual flag-off times, course maps, race-pack venue and local transport arrangements have not been verified. The event start time remains to be announced, and the map marker identifies the city centre rather than the race start. Runners should check the organiser's final instructions before making travel plans.
