Run For Hope 2026

Run For Hope 2026 brings runners and supporters together at Marina Barrage, Singapore, on Sunday 29 November 2026 for its 33rd edition. The charity event is jointly organised by Four Seasons Hotel Singapore and National Cancer Centre Singapore to increase awareness and support research into cancer. It is a non-competitive, community-focused 5K and 10K, not a timed road championship; proceeds after event costs support cancer research.

Official race-morning programme

The official 2026 race-day schedule is published in Singapore time (SGT, UTC+8):

• 6:15 am: race village opens, with information booth and baggage deposit.
• 6:45 am: 10K start pen opens; warm-up at 7:00 am.
• 7:15 am: 10K flag-off.
• 8:00 am: 5K start pen opens; warm-up at 8:10 am.
• 8:30 am: 5K flag-off.
• 9:20 am: cool-down, followed by Zumba at 9:45 am.
• 10:15 am: stage programme, with the event expected to conclude about 10:45 am.

The organiser reserves the right to adjust the programme. The site is Marina Barrage, 8 Marina Gardens Drive, near Gardens by the Bay MRT station. Arrive well before your own distance's start, allow time for the crowd and follow marshals' directions.

Registration options

The organiser advertises S$40 for a standard 5K entry and S$55 for a standard 10K entry. Previous Run For Hope participants with a valid loyalty offer and eligible group entrants have advertised rates of S$35 (5K) and S$50 (10K). The loyal-runner offer uses a promo code sent to eligible past participants; groups should contact the organiser directly. These variants are now identified separately in the race-category cards.

The organiser marks 27 July to 31 October 2026 as its standard-price registration window; it does not clearly identify 31 October as the final closure of every possible registration channel. The register links were still displayed on the official website when checked on 23 October 2026; final entry availability should be confirmed with the registration provider rather than assumed.

This is an all-ages leisure run. Participants younger than 21 need a parent or guardian's consent. Registrations are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be switched to another distance after confirmation. Participants can also support the National Cancer Centre Singapore through the official contribution facility without joining the run.

Race packs and participant requirements

Official race-pack collection takes place on 21–22 November 2026, 11:00 am–7:00 pm, at Green Square, Basement 1, City Square Mall, 180 Kitchener Road. Bring your registration confirmation. Another person may collect a pack with a signed authorisation letter, identification copy for the runner, and their own identification. The organiser says delivery is not available. Participants receive an official event T-shirt, race bib and race pack, with contents subject to the organiser's final communications.

Transport, wet weather and practical conditions (official 2026 FAQ)

There are no organiser-provided shuttle buses to Marina Barrage. The organiser identifies Gardens by the Bay MRT as the nearest station. Allow extra travel time on race morning.

The event is generally scheduled to proceed in rain, but severe weather may cause changes to the route, format, starting times or event arrangements. Runners should follow event-marshal directions and check the organiser's official Instagram/Facebook announcements for real-time changes. No entry-fee refund is provided if the run is cancelled due to wet weather or other unforeseen circumstances under the published terms.

The event T-shirt size is selected during registration and cannot be exchanged afterwards. Organisers provide medical support and marshals along the route; participants should follow their instructions.
