Event Detail
Tour de Care & AgeWell Championships 2027 brings Singapore's running, walking and cycling communities together on Sunday 17 January 2027 to raise funds for the Home Nursing Foundation (HNF). Organisers are marking 50 years of care with a target of 3,000 participants and a fundraising ambition of SGD 2.8 million for nursing, medical and therapy services delivered to vulnerable people in their homes.
Running and walking programme
The organiser currently advertises these on-site events at the Great Eastern Promenade in the Singapore Sports Hub precinct, although the specific venue remains marked 'TBC' on the official website:
- 10 km run/walk: 9:00 am SGT (early-bird entry SGD 50).
- 5 km run/walk: 9:35 am SGT (early-bird entry SGD 30).
These are the event's published start times; the separate cycling challenge starts at 7:00 am on a 10 km loop with a two-hour period. A virtual run/walk/ride option is also available for SGD 12, with activity tracked through Strava. The cycling and virtual options are described for context and are not additional in-person running distances.
Entry, benefits and teams
Registration is advertised as open on the organiser's website as at 25 October 2026. The published registration window is 7 October 2026 to 17 January 2027, subject to category availability. The organiser has not specified the precise closing hour on race day, so do not assume last-minute entries will be accepted.
The race-day prices above are early-bird rates through 15 November 2026, with a SGD 10 saving per race-day entry. Regular prices thereafter may be higher. Physical race-day participants are advertised to receive a finisher medal, event T-shirt, drawstring bag and access to the AgeWell Championships.
Friends, families, corporate teams and running clubs can register in separate categories while joining a shared fundraising team. Team members can share their page and have their kilometres and contributions appear on the event leaderboard. The AgeWell Championships also invite participants to take part in activities promoting intergenerational movement and active ageing.
Why the event matters
HNF provides community-based nursing, medical, therapy and personal-care services for frail and homebound patients who face difficulties attending a clinic. The organiser says all public donations go directly towards frontline home clinical visits and therapy. Its campaign information illustrates what support can achieve: approximately SGD 115 for a home nursing visit or SGD 150 for a home therapy visit. These are charity-impact examples, not running entry fees.
Venue and final arrangements
The official Tour de Care website still displays Great Eastern Promenade (TBC). The Sports Hub precinct is the proposed setting, but the exact gathering point, race routes and final logistics should be checked again before travelling. Race-pack collection dates and times are not yet independently confirmed. Check your confirmation email and organiser updates rather than relying on previous editions' instructions.
The official registration link is the authoritative source for current pricing, categories, vacancies and any change to the venue or start times.
