5th Phetchaburi Marathon 2026

The 5th Phetchaburi Marathon returns to Hat Chao Samran on the Gulf of Thailand as an established provincial road-running event organised by the Association of Phetchaburi People together with Phetchaburi Province. The event is promoted as both a community health initiative and a sport-tourism activity for Phetchaburi, with part of the proceeds supporting public-benefit work and activities of the association.

Additional official entry options: The organiser offers a THB 2,000 VIP category for any of the four on-site distances. VIP runners compete in the same distance and age divisions as standard entrants, and receive both a VIP shirt and standard event shirt, a Chaoan mascot doll, a VIP souvenir and a finisher medal when they complete their race. A separate 20 km VRRUN virtual participation option costs THB 690, including delivery, an event shirt, medal and keyring; it is not a race-day distance or on-site competition, so it is not included among ARC's physical-race filters. The organiser also lists optional race-pack delivery at THB 70 for the first runner and THB 30 for each additional runner in the same shipment, subject to its final collection instructions.

Race morning is centred on the Hat Chao Samran beachfront area in Mueang Phetchaburi. The marathon starts before dawn at 03:00, followed by the half marathon at 04:00, 10K at 05:00 and 5K at 05:10. Electronic chip timing is used across the four on-site race distances. The published programme schedules the awards ceremony for 07:00 and the event to conclude at 10:00.

The event uses broad men's and women's age-group divisions as well as overall awards. Marathon and half-marathon finishers receive an additional finisher shirt, while all registered runners receive the standard event shirt and successful finishers receive a medal. Overall trophies are awarded to leading men and women, with age-group trophies extending through fifth place in the published divisions.

The advertised entry closing date is 31 October 2026; an exact closing hour has not been verified, and the organiser may close earlier if capacity is reached. Bib and shirt collection is held only on Saturday, 12 December from 10:00 to 19:00 at Hat Chao Samran. Participants collecting their own pack should bring their collection code and Thai ID; authorised collection for another runner is permitted with the required identification documents. There is no race-day bib collection.
