Event Detail

The B-Quik Khao Yai Marathon 2027 returns to Mu Si, Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima, for a full weekend of running on 9–10 January 2027. The event combines a certified-distance road marathon and half marathon with shorter races for recreational runners and families, against the forested setting of the Khao Yai region.

Race weekend and courses

The official programme starts with race-pack collection and Expo Day on Saturday 9 January, plus the 2 km Family Run at 16:30. Four races follow on Sunday 10 January, beginning well before dawn:

  • 42.195 km marathon: 03:00 start; 7-hour cut-off.
  • 21.1 km half marathon: 04:30 start; 4-hour cut-off.
  • 10 km mini marathon: 05:00 start; 2½-hour cut-off.
  • 5 km fun run: 05:15 start; 1½-hour cut-off.
  • 2 km family run (Saturday): 16:30 start; 1-hour cut-off.

All courses begin and finish at the Khao Yai Activity Ground. The organiser identifies Thanarat Road and Road 3052 among the road corridors used by the 2027 routes. Its official course maps show turning points, elevation profiles, hydration points, medical assistance and timing gates. The race has established certified road courses for the marathon and half marathon, but individual runners should rely on the official 2027 course maps and final technical instructions for on-the-day navigation. The 5 km and 2 km races are non-competitive, without ranked prizes.

Registration and fees

The organiser lists regular entry fees of THB 1,250 for the marathon, THB 1,100 for the half marathon, THB 750 for 10 km, THB 600 for 5 km, and THB 500 for 2 km. These are the structured ARC category prices; earlier promotional price periods may not apply when booking. An additional 7% registration/payment system charge is excluded from the published fees. The official FAQ also offers a separate THB 2,500 charity package for any of the five distances, with a T-shirt, timing chip, finisher medal, finisher shirt and goodie bag. Exact payable amounts, booking availability and any discount eligibility must be checked in the Checkrace checkout.

Race pack and prizes

Collect race packs on Saturday 9 January, 10:00–18:30 Thailand time, at the Khao Yai Marathon Venue. The organiser requests a national ID or registration QR confirmation. Standard race packs include a running shirt, bib and finisher medal. The 42.195 km, 21.1 km and 10 km categories also use chip timing; marathon and half-marathon finishers who meet their cut-offs receive the advertised finisher shirt. The organiser also lists a goodie bag.

Competitive overall awards for men and women are advertised for the marathon, half marathon and 10 km, together with Thai-winner awards and age-group trophies. The official FAQ lists overall 1st–3rd prizes for the marathon of THB 25,000 / 15,000 / 7,500, for the half marathon THB 15,000 / 7,500 / 5,000, and for the 10 km THB 10,000 / 5,000 / 3,000. Open-category winners cannot also claim an age-group award. Age-group eligibility and race rules vary by distance and should be checked before entering.

Getting to Khao Yai

This is a destination running weekend outside central Bangkok. Choose accommodation in Khao Yai, Mu Si or Pak Chong and plan the journey to the start carefully, particularly for the 03:00 marathon and 04:30 half marathon. The organiser says detailed parking and shuttle instructions will be released separately; do not assume transport is available without confirmation. Allow time for the previous day's bib collection.

For the official 2027 route maps, race schedule and registration information, see the organiser website, race FAQ and Checkrace registration.
