Event Detail

The Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok 2026 presented by TOYOTA returns for its ninth edition over 28–29 November 2026. Thailand's capital hosts a major road-running weekend with the marathon, half marathon, 10K and 4.5K Family Run, taking in prominent Bangkok landmarks. All four races finish at Sanam Luang, although the half marathon starts beside MBK Center on Phayathai Road.

Race programme and official times

Saturday 28 November (Thailand time, UTC+7)

  • Half marathon (21.1K): 04:00 from MBK Center, finishing at Sanam Luang. Cut-off: 3 hours 30 minutes, calculated from the last starter.

Sunday 29 November

  • Marathon (42.195K): 02:00 from Sanam Luang; seven-hour cut-off.
  • 10K: 06:00 from Sanam Luang; two-hour cut-off.
  • Family Run (4.5K): 06:45 from Sanam Luang; one-hour cut-off. This is a non-competitive 4.5K, not a 5K.

Published course descriptions include areas around Lumphini Park, Victory Monument, Democracy Monument and the Giant Swing. Road closures and access will vary by race.

Important: entries SOLD OUT

Registration status checked on 24 October 2026: the official 2026 entry portal explicitly says ALL SLOTS SOLD OUT, with every listed category marked 'Sold Out'. New registration is not currently available. The original advertised public-registration deadline was 31 October 2026 at 22:00 Thailand time, but the race filled before that date. The structured closed date of 24 October is an observed sold-out-by date, not the organiser's actual sell-out time. Only the official organiser can confirm whether any entries may be released again. Do not purchase transferred bibs from third parties.

Bib collection and event preparation

Race-pack collection takes place at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, 26–27 November, 11:00–20:00 for all distances, and 28 November, 11:00–18:00 for the marathon, 10K and 4.5K (not the half marathon). There is no race-day bib collection or postal dispatch. A representative may collect a race pack with the participant's confirmation slip, signed authorisation and appropriate identification documents. Selling or transferring bibs is prohibited by the organiser.

Allow extra time for overnight transport; the organiser advises planning approximately 75–90 minutes around event road closures and traffic controls. Bring your assigned bib, respect course cut-offs and check the official participant guide for final road-access and assembly instructions.
