Gatorade BKK Run 2026

Gatorade BKK Run 2026 is the first Gatorade-branded running event staged in Thailand, bringing a 5,000-runner year-end road race to Bangkok's Rama III riverside on Sunday 27 December. The programme consists of a 21.1K half marathon and a 10K, with 2,500 places in each distance, and is designed as an overnight-to-dawn city race.

Both races start and finish at the Thai Smile Bus headquarters precinct on Charoen Nakhon Road. The 21.1K starts at 03:30 and has a 3 hour 30 minute cut-off, while the 10K begins at 04:00 with a 2 hour 30 minute limit. Official course maps place both races on Rama III roads beside the Chao Phraya River. The half-marathon extends through the Bhumibol Bridge area before returning to the start, while the 10K uses a shorter Rama III turnaround. Gatorade's current launch material also highlights views around Krungthep Bridge, Rama IX Bridge and Bhumibol Bridge.

The organiser says the course will operate with full road closure and publishes Aquafina water and Gatorade hydration points along the route. Runner bibs use electronic timing. Current participant benefits include an adidas Adizero running shirt, finisher medal, Gatorade bag and socks, while 21.1K finishers also receive a finisher shirt.

Registration is offered via the official Checkrace entry system, with a stated closing date of 20 November 2026 or earlier if the field fills. The organiser's current registration page has also published the race-pack collection arrangements. Registration is non-transferable, and the published rules state that entry fees are not refunded even if the event is cancelled. Final parking and transport instructions should be checked closer to race day.

The event has a competitive programme in addition to its mass-participation field, with overall prizes for both distances, a separate Thai overall award for the 21.1K, age-group trophies and special recognition for the first 100 male and female half-marathon finishers.
