Event Detail

The second Rajavithi Run For Life, Emergency For All is a major hospital charity running event in central Bangkok, organised by the Rajavithi Hospital Foundation. Taking place during the hospital's 75th-anniversary year, the event invites recreational runners, competitive participants, families and donors to support the development of the hospital's new accident and emergency building, including essential medical equipment and facilities for patients needing urgent care.

A run supporting emergency medicine

The inaugural 2025 event attracted more than 7,000 participants, according to the hospital's anniversary publicity. The 2026 edition continues that community fundraising effort and the organiser's Green Running initiative, which encourages reducing unnecessary materials and waste at running events. The public can also contribute through a donation-only option without entering a race.

Distances and participation

Three distances are promoted for this edition: a 10 km mini marathon, a 5 km run and a short 1.5 km community category. The current-edition advertised general registration fees are THB 650 for 10 km, THB 550 for 5 km and THB 1,000 for the 1.5 km event. The organiser also advertises VIP and Super VIP entry choices separately; confirm their prices and entitlements within the official registration process.

Important date clarification

The live organiser-linked registration page now states Sunday 6 December 2026, at Victory Monument. Several older hospital announcements from June and July and secondary calendars still list 22 November. For this listing, the later, live registration page takes priority, but registered participants should obtain written confirmation of their date, assembly location and race-pack collection arrangements from the organiser before booking travel. Previously advertised 22 November start times must not be assumed to apply on 6 December. Individual flag-off times for 6 December have not yet been confirmed.

Race-day planning

Victory Monument is a busy transport interchange beside Rajavithi Hospital in Bangkok's Ratchathewi district. Follow organiser announcements for road closures, exact assembly points, route maps, cut-off times, age rules, race-pack collection and any mandatory runner briefing. The registration system currently presents active general, VIP, Super VIP and donation options; availability can change. Fundraising announcements describe potential Thai tax deductions for qualifying donations, but entrants should confirm eligibility and obtain appropriate receipts rather than assuming their whole entry fee is deductible.
