Where the courses go
All runners assemble at Muang Khai Pittayakom School in Nong Muang Khai, Phrae. The 3K follows rural highway PR 3095 as an out-and-back course to the village police-post turnaround in Moo 6. The 5K crosses the Yom River bridge and follows route PR 4016 past Wat Rattanasunthorn, turning near Larbh Olan restaurant. The 10K continues further on PR 4016, turning near Phoem Suk restaurant before following the return section past Nong Muang Khai Hospital and the Nong Tao waterside. The organiser's route overview shows one water station, encountered twice, for the 3K and 5K, and three water stations, encountered five times in total, for the 10K. Follow course marshals and any updated official route maps on the day.
Competition and awards
The 3K is a health walk without competitive placings; its participants receive a commemorative medal. The 5K and 10K feature male and female age-group competition. The published age brackets are under 20, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59 and 60+. The organiser advertises an overall winner's trophy for men and women in each of the 5K and 10K; age-group awards cover the top three in each 5K bracket and top five in each 10K bracket. Everyone taking part in the three distances is advertised a commemorative medal.
