PEA S1 Mini Marathon Phetchaburi 2026

PEA S1 Mini Marathon 2026 takes place in Phetchaburi, Thailand, on Sunday 20 December 2026, organised by the Provincial Electricity Authority, Area 1 (South). The organiser presents this as a ‘Run to Move Forward’ Carbon Neutral Event, inviting runners to enjoy a predominantly flat route towards Hat Chao Samran while contributing travel information for the event's carbon-footprint accounting.

Venue and course

The start and finish are at the Provincial Electricity Authority Area 1 (South) regional office, 86 Moo 5, Phetchaburi–Hat Chao Samran Road, Pho Rai Wan, Mueang Phetchaburi. The official event website describes a flat out-and-back road course towards Hat Chao Samran with a separated traffic lane. The published programme indicates a 05:00 start (Thailand time, UTC+7) but does not clearly give distinct flag-off times for each category. Follow later organiser announcements for individual waves and road closures, and do not assume the entire highway is closed to general traffic.

Distances and entry options

The official 2026 race website advertises:

• 3.5K Fun Run, THB 400, intended for beginners and recreational runners.
• 5K Mini, THB 450.
• 10K Challenge, THB 500, the main competitive event.
• 5K Family Run, THB 1,200 for a three-person family.
• VIP package, THB 1,599, including a VIP shirt, finisher cap, VIP parking and VIP seating. Confirm which distance and benefits the VIP booking covers at checkout.

The 3.5K is a genuine advertised category, not a 3K, 4.2K or 5K. Because ARC's existing structured distance catalogue does not contain exactly 3.5K, the 3.5K price is accurately described here rather than mislabelled in the distance cards. The family 5K is shown separately from the individual 5K entry. Entry prices are organiser-advertised base amounts; check the official checkout for current availability and any payment adjustments.

Race benefits and prizes

The organiser advertises race shirts and race packs, and finisher medals across all distances for participants who finish. The distinctive medal design is a three-piece wooden jigsaw inspired by Phetchaburi landmarks. The website also shows trophies for male and female overall leaders and age-category winners in the competitive categories. For 10K, seven announced age groups are 19 and under, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69 and 70+. The published 10K overall winner receives THB 3,000 per male and female category, with trophies for runners placed second to fifth; age-category champions are advertised a THB 500 award and trophy. Refer to the specific organiser rules for whether age-group and overall prizes can be combined.

Registration and practical information

Registration is online only through the official event site; there is no on-site registration on race day. Runners may need to submit a payment receipt to confirm entry and should carefully review the organiser's terms, identification requirements and insurance conditions. The current website describes toilets in the main eight-storey PEA office building and nearby service buildings. A precise 2026 race-pack collection date and location and a verified general registration closing date have not been published on the primary pages checked, so no deadlines or pickup arrangements are assumed. Check official updates before setting off, particularly if travelling from Bangkok or elsewhere in Thailand. For enquiries, the organiser provides its PEA S.1 Running Club Facebook page and an event contact email.

The location pin is approximate within the named Pho Rai Wan subdistrict until the regional-office entrance can be individually geocoded; navigate using the office name and full street address rather than the approximate pin.
