Event Detail

Ray Run Pattaya 2026 brings people of different ages and abilities together on Central Pattaya Beach on Sunday 22 November under the theme Run for All, Race for Hope. Organised by the Father Ray Foundation with Pattaya City and community partners, the event combines beach running, a wheelchair category and an accessible charity programme that supports disadvantaged children and people with disabilities.

Run, walk or take part together

The programme includes 1K, 3K and 5K beach walk/run distances, all welcoming individual runners as well as pairs. Duo entries provide a place for a runner or walker and a participant with a disability. Participants may nominate someone to receive the supported place, or ask the Father Ray Foundation to allocate it to someone in its care. Guide runners are offered to visually impaired participants.

There is also a 2.5K wheelchair road category, designed for a wheelchair participant with a companion/pusher or a pair of wheelchair participants. Older wheelchair users may take part with a caregiver. The wheelchair distance is 2.5K, not 2K or 3K; ARC's current distance selector has no exact 2.5K option, so it is recorded here rather than mislabelled in the structured list.

Race programme

  • Saturday 21 November, 10:00–18:00: Race bib and shirt collection at the Mahatai Pattaya Convention Centre (Pattaya Redemptorist Centre), together with community exhibitions and activities.
  • Sunday 22 November, 05:00: Bag drop and morning preparations at Central Pattaya Beach.
  • 05:30: 2.5K wheelchair start.
  • 06:30: 5K beach run/walk start.
  • 06:40: 3K beach run/walk start.
  • 06:50: 1K beach run/walk start.
  • 07:00: Planned ceremony and presentations, with the programme due to finish about 08:00.

Registration and community purpose

An individual entry costs THB 800 at any of the 1K, 3K or 5K distances, including one event jersey and medal. A THB 1,000 duo package includes two entries, jerseys and medals; wheelchair duo entry is also THB 1,000. Those unable to run can buy a THB 500 supporter shirt with delivery, while an advertised THB 10,000 VIP package accommodates up to ten participants. Disabled participants receive a commemorative gift in addition to their running pack, subject to the organiser's conditions.

The event is intended to raise funds and awareness for the Father Ray Foundation, helping its work with children and people with disabilities. Organisers ask participants to follow accessibility arrangements, wear their race bibs, keep to designated lanes where applicable, and heed marshals and medical personnel.

Location note: The advertised meeting point is Pattaya Klang Beach / Central Pattaya Beach. The map pin is an approximate point near the Central Pattaya Road and Beach Road junction; follow the organiser's current course and start-area instructions rather than treating it as a precisely surveyed start line. The published schedule is based on the organiser's 2026 event and corroborating race announcements.
