Event Detail
The fifth Zero CO₂ Chachoengsao Run brings road runners to Chachoengsao on Sunday 6 December 2026 for a distinctive community event combining fitness, local landmarks and measurable environmental responsibility. The provincial Chamber of Commerce and the Tourism Authority of Thailand are behind this edition, which starts at the Sri Sothon Camp shooting range, behind Rajabhat Rajanagarindra University.
Routes and event setting
The organiser has published separate 21 km, 10 km and 5 km route maps. All three courses start from the camp area and head towards central Chachoengsao. Local highlights on the published maps include the Phraya Si Sunthon Wohan roundabout, the Wat Sothon area and, on the longer routes, the railway station and surrounding city streets. The 21 km race offers a longer urban loop, while the 5 km is suitable for runners wanting a shorter experience. The 21K and 10K use electronic chip timing; the 5K is recorded by gun time. Check the organiser's official maps for the final route and turn points.
Race-morning arrangements
The site opens at 03:00 Thailand time, the opening ceremony is scheduled for 04:30 and the first runners set off at 04:45. Prize presentations are scheduled from 07:00, with the event due to finish at 08:30. Bib and shirt collection is available the previous day and again from 03:00 on race morning. Allow extra travel time for pre-dawn access to the military-camp venue and any temporary road closures.
Why the CO₂ theme matters
The organising team publishes its environmental measurements rather than simply using a green slogan. For the 2025 fourth edition, it reported 6.87 tonnes of CO₂-equivalent emissions and the purchase of 7.0 tonnes of credits; these are last year's figures, not results for 2026. The fifth edition intends to measure and disclose its own footprint after the race. Runners can enjoy the event's local atmosphere while keeping travel-related emissions in mind.
The official registration platform is linked from the organiser's current-edition website. Entry availability and final participant instructions may change, so consult the organiser before making travel plans.
