Event Detail
Vietnam Airlines Run For Love 2026 returns to Tay Ho Creative Cultural Space, Trinh Cong Son pedestrian street, beside Hanoi's West Lake, on Sunday 25 October 2026. The fifth edition celebrates Autumn in Motion, Love in Action and brings together a planned 1,800-plus participants, from recreational runners and families to athletes with visual impairments and their guide runners. The organiser confirms three distances: 10K, 5K and 1.5K.
Race-day programme (local Hanoi time; check for last-minute changes)
- 04:45: assembly and bag-drop services open.
- 05:15: 10K start; two-hour-and-15-minute time limit.
- 06:00: 5K start; one-hour-and-15-minute time limit.
- 07:15: 1.5K children's and family run; 30-minute limit.
- 06:00–10:00: activity booths; 09:00–09:30: planned closing ceremony.
ARC distance limitation: The genuine 1.5K family race is officially advertised but currently has no matching ARC distance selector. The distance chips therefore display only 5K and 10K. Do not substitute 1K or 2K.
Registration and the 11 October deadline: important distinction
11 October 2026 is the organiser's deadline for participant-information changes, not a substantiated final deadline for purchasing a new entry. The official rules say no requests to amend personal details, transfer registrations or change distance will be accepted from 11 October. The organiser has not provided a verifiable overall registration closing date or live remaining-capacity statement in the information independently checked for this update. Do not assume that a registration is available, or label 11 October as the registration cut-off. Check the official booking portal or contact the organiser directly for the final availability before making plans.
The official September opening announcement published historical early-bird fees of VND 229,000 (1.5K), VND 329,000 (5K) and VND 429,000 (10K), available only through 1 October 2026. These are not necessarily the current entry fees. Tickets are non-refundable; entry does not include travel, accommodation or other personal expenses.
Inclusive racing and festival programme
Visually impaired athletes are welcomed in the 5K and 10K with guide-runner support and dedicated awards. The event site plans to feature a five-year Run For Love photographic retrospective, a QR history journey, participant messages, health and wellbeing booths, family activities, a play area and mini pickleball. Vietnam Airlines advertises prizes for selected adult, children's and visually impaired categories, subject to its official regulations.
Arrival advice: The race hub is the Tay Ho Creative Cultural Space in the West Lake district, not central Hanoi. The exact start-line map pin is approximate; check the organiser's directions for assembly, road restrictions and collection details.
