Decathlon specifies Fastech+ responsive foam combined with a lightweight CMEVA layer to balance energy return, cushioning and control. The men's version has an 8 mm heel-to-toe drop, with a stated 45 mm heel and 37 mm forefoot stack, and a reference weight of 225 g in size 8. Its breathable knitted Sockfit upper wraps the foot without a conventional separate tongue, while the heel structure is reinforced for support. Decathlon describes a plate-like sensation from the construction, but this is not a carbon-plated racing shoe.
