Event Detail
Bumi Khayangan Trail Run 2026 brings runners to the cool mountain landscape of Jalibar in Kota Batu, East Java, on Sunday, 22 November 2026. Organised by Karang Taruna Kota Batu, the race explores apple orchards, community plantations, pine forest and paths beneath the Panderman mountains. The organiser describes the start area as approximately 1,113–1,384 metres above sea level, making this a trail-running experience rather than a conventional road 5K.
The course and race experience
The Fun 5K is the shorter option, while the Challenging 12K is intended for runners seeking a longer route through mountain terrain. The organiser provides official 5K and 12K GPX downloads on its website; entrants should consult these rather than treating a general map pin as the marked course. Both runs are advertised as starting and finishing in the Jalibar area.
The website advertises hydration stations, refreshments, official race photography and a race jersey, non-chip bib and finisher medal. It also advertises men's and women's podium places for both distances, with three winners per category, plus door-prize opportunities. The organiser says participation is restricted to Indonesian citizens (WNI). Trail footwear and preparation for uneven terrain are sensible, and runners should check the final race briefing for any compulsory equipment and exact flag-off times; ARC's existing 06:00 WIB time has not been independently confirmed from the current official programme.
Important registration update (checked 25 October 2026)
Registration is closed. The official registration page states that entries closed on 10 October 2026 at 23:59 WIB, and the organiser's event homepage currently marks both the 5K and 12K sold out. The homepage now displays a IDR 200,000 late-registration price for the 5K and IDR 200,000 for the 12K; older promotional prices are no longer the advertised late-entry rates. These are historical advertised fees, not an indication that new places can still be booked.
The published information does not establish a confirmed race-pack collection time or venue. Registered participants should follow the organiser's Instagram @bumikhayangantrailrun for the final schedule, collection instructions, course changes and any cancellation or postponement notices. The official website identifies Dewi (0855-1517-890) as its event contact.
